DTF printing was introduced in 2020.This revolutionary process will revolutionize the print-on-demand market. It offers multiple benefits. It doesn’t need setup costs and is completely adapted to print-on-demand. Completed transfers apply on all fabrics or textiles, cotton, poly or mixed blends, even leather. You don't need spraying a pretreatment like in DTG. The prints are incredible and bright, with very small details. They are resistant to washing and inexpensive to produce. The colours and white come out bright and vivid with a feel almost comparable to DTG.

This printing technique represent a combination of DST and DTG printing. As the name suggests, you reproduce your designs on DTF transfer film, employing a DTF printer. Your artwork or logos produced on the Direct-To-Film transfer sheet or roll. A powder to be applied on the film will serve as glue. The transfer of design is achieved through pressure and heat. The completed operation can obviously be carried out automatically with our articles: P-DRY1 or P-DRY3.

How to use the DTF transfer films for heat transfer ?

Direct-to-film prints your CMYK colours and then your Super White layer. Transfers are suitable for all textiles, regardless of their light or dark shade, unlike traditional heat transfers. In addition, you can easily print any type of garments, even wood or metal. Alternate, on the white hoodies, composed of a mixture of cotton and polyester then a black t-shirt made of organic cotton.

Naturally use special DTF pigment ink. It is applied on the transfer film. Our excellent quality films will perform amazingly and let you focus on selling rather than troubleshooting. Produce economical high-quality prints, detailed and complex. The transfer film rolls instantly make the colours more vivid compared to conventional heat transfers.

Now that you print your transfer with the design on your PET sheet, you will complete the transfer. First, apply a powder exclusively produced for DTF. This DTF powder serves as a glue or binder between the textile of your choice and your transfer films. DTF transfer film allows printing on cotton, poly, blends, leather and more.

Our DTF transfer films are compatible with modified DTF desktop printers, like the Epson L1800. You have likely noticed that you will no longer use pretreatment fluid like with DTG. Save time and money!

What packaging to use for DTF transfer films?

For medium systems, like the DP2 and P-DRY1, you’ll use Rolls of 30cm width.

For mass production or constant printing, we present Roll 60cm x 100m Cold Peel and Roll 60cm x 100m Hot Peel. They allow you to save money and time but their wide surface to print.
